i wish i had a scanner and/or some kind of art program that isn't Paint on this laptop hahaha.

i miss drawing, mannnnnnn.

all i do now is travel...

I sometimes see fictional characters that are supposed to be half human & half animal, half cat & half mouse, half mammal half & half reptile, half gorilla & half peacock or WHATEVER... now don't tell me that I'm the only one who sees what is odd here. I know that they're supposed to be fictional, but come on.
Though I do suppose genetic testing has come a long way.




I learned that Dolly the sheep got her name after Dolly Parton, because she was cloned from a part of a mammary gland. Hahaha.

Long time no-log-in, eh?

OK so I returned to Canada around 2 months ago, after having spend an amazingly fantastic academic year in Japan.

It.
Was.
Amazing.

I've told stories about it to all my friends back home and such so I'm not going to go over it, but yeah it was fricken awesomeeee.
I went to Korea and Thailand while I was at it, too, and those 2 places were wicked as well.

omg Canada (at least, Victoria) is so BORING after a year of adventuring around lol.


But yeah....

I don't really draw that much anymore, which is kinda sad :0
The only drawings I do these days are doodles in my spare time (on the bus, on the plane, in my class while not listening to the lecture... hah), and caricatures. I've loves doing caricatures for years now. I don't do them all big and fancy or anything, but they're just a part of my doodles. It's fun.

So I doubt that I'll be uploading any like, big time-spent-on pieces anymore, but then again I look at my gallery (god it's so old and HORRIBLE omg) and they're mostly doodles anyway, haha.

Yeah aside from all that though, and I are hardcore GYM-BUDDIES right now, and totally making ourselves hotter than we already are, in preparation for the lovely summer. HECK YES.

So, I'll perhaps be around. I'll dig up some doodles when I Have time and motivation :3



I'll end this entry with a very valuable advice.
Start using eye-cream once you hit your 20's, kids.

I so need a new icon. I drew that ass like 2 years ago. I can totally draw some nicer looking butts now.

Anyway,
at the end of March, I'm going to be going to Japan for a year!! It's for an academic exchange through my University.


I'm going to be at Doshisha University, which is located in Kyoto. Apparently it's really beautiful there during spring time, so I'm super duper excited. I'll be living in a dorm with other international students, so we'll totally party it up

While I'm there, I don't know if I'll be making any art updates on dA. I will if I get the chance to, but yeah who knows I barely update anymore anyway though so maybe it'll make no difference, haha... I'll try to smack something new(ish) up before I leave, at least.

But yeah it's just a heads up! I actually just wanted to comment on my icon (see first sentence), but then I figured that I might as well also let people know what else was up.



On the other hand, I've been sick for 3 weeks. Flu + viral bronchitis = wtf. I hope that you guys are managing to stay healthy ;(
